I hosted a Parisian-themed birthday fete for mom last weekend. It was purple/white/silver/black in color scheme. I used a blown-up photo of a window on Paris to add just the right amount of je ne sais quoi. My sister and I made almost all of the decorations from paper, and hubs and I made the cake stands while sis made the cake. I think it all turned out tres magnifique!
